Due to our extensive knowledge in steel fabrication we have the ability to not only tailor safari vehicles, we also offer the availability of various forms of rails inclusive of hunting frames, farm rails, support vehicles, film vehicle frames & body protection rails.
Our customers are given the opportunity to customise & design their own rails providing they are suited to our abilities and that the completed construction not only conforms well with the vehicle in question, but supports its use by remaining resilient, practical & we do like to ensure that such frames adhere to their purpose.
Here at Kavango we offer a few standard designs that generally form the basis, if not the final outcome, of what the customer will require:
Fixed Frames – Secured to the vehicle without side access (can be modified & altered):
- 2 Pipe Frame: 50mm Steel Tubing / 2 Side Pipes / Open Rear
- 4 Pipe Frame: 50mm Steel Tubing / 4 Side Pipes / Open Rear
- Fully-Mesh Frame: 50mm & 38mm Steel Tubing / Fully Meshed / Open Rear
Hydraulic Frames – Secured to the vehicle with the ability of side access:
- 4 Pipe Frame: 50mm Steel Tubing / 4 Side Pipes / Hydraulic Sides / Open Rear
- Fully-Mesh Frame: 50mm & 38mm Steel Tubing / Fully Meshed / Hydraulic Sides / Open Rear
Rear Gates - Added separately to the rails if required:
Detachable – 4 Pipe: 50mm Steel Pipe / Detachable (secured with Bolts)
Detachable – Mesh: 50mm & 38mm Steel Pipe / Fully Meshed / Detachable (secured with bolts)
Hydraulic – 4 Pipe: 50mm Steel Pipe / Hydraulic Struts
Hydraulic – Mesh: 50mm & 38mm Steel Pipe / Fully Meshed / Hydraulic Struts
All frames can be profiled or un-profiled dependant on the requirement.
We also manufacture canvas canopies for extra security, protection or just simply aesthetic purposes.
Our canvas canopies can be basic or customised to conform to the rails e.g. addition of side panels, windows & roof hatches.
With the addition of rear rails customers are also given the opportunity to add additional steel work such as side rails, roof carriers & bumpers, as well as various seating options & polyurethane lining (which is recommended for added durability of the load bin).
